Young talents filled Marmorsalen with music, energy and community
On Sunday, November 9, Marmorsalen at Sentralen once again became a vibrant gathering place for new voices in Norwegian hip-hop, R&B and urban music. Through the project TAO (Together As One), young musicians have explored collaboration, creativity and artistic development – and this evening the audience got to experience the result in the form of innovative music, strong stories and raw stage presence.
The lineup consisted of Tayza, TBOY, CHRiS AP, Fiji, YNG N, Em & Rob, ODJB, Enzi Da Prince, Daniel Obede, Prince Omane and Eddy & Zino – a strong team of young artists who represent the diversity and driving force of today's youth culture.
The evening made an impression. The audience was greeted with genuine emotions, new soundscapes and artist presentations that reflected several years of work with music, cultural exchange and community. The event was a celebration of youth, the joy of creation and the power of lifting each other up through creativity.
What really tied the evening together was the concept of FULL CIRCLE, inspired by the five elements of hip-hop:
MCing, DJing, breaking, graffiti and knowledge.
These elements have been at the heart of the TAO project from the very beginning. FULL CIRCLE marked how the participants have developed over the years not only their musical skills, but also their identity, their understanding of culture and their role in a larger creative community.
The evening thus became more than a concert – it became living proof of what happens when young people are given the space to express themselves across art forms, stories and backgrounds. FULL CIRCLE brought together all the threads from the process and celebrated community, cultural exchange and the power of the original hip-hop spirit.
